Arsenal have confirmed Sky Sports’ speculation that four of their players have disregarded the government’s coronavirus measures and that the London club will punish its stars.
Nicolas Pepe was filmed playing football with friends in north London, while Granit Xhaka and David Luiz met in a park, and Alexander Lacazette was photographed with his car curator.
This is not the first such case in the Premier League, and previously the rules were not respected by several Tottenham players, namely Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko, who apologized for their move.
