The player could now team up with Paul Pogba’s agent.

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has dumped his agent for failing to secure him a move away from Selhurst Park, according to reports.

Zaha had admitted before last season came to an end that he wanted a new challenge and to compete in Europe, with Arsenal showing heavy interest in the Ivory Coast international. However, Zaha had to stay put in the summer as Crystal Palace played hardball over their €80 million valuation of their star man.

But according to The Times, Zaha has told his agent he wants to terminate their contract, citing the latter’s relationship with Palace chairman Steve Parish.

It has been reported that the agent, Will Salthouse, whose agency USM helped thrash out some of the biggest deals of the summer window, has been told in writing about Zaha’s desire to go their different ways.

The FA have now been informed of a ‘dispute’ between the 26-year-old and his agent, according to sources.

According to the Daily Mail, a number of intermediaries are currently circling the 26-year-old, and Mino Raiola is at the head of the queue for the former Manchester United youngster. The super-agent looks after the likes of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic but was unable to help the former secure a move to Real Madrid in this summer’s transfer window.

Zaha’s contract with USM is due to expire next summer, although Raiola could reportedly poach the attacker providing that a compensation package is agreed. That could be a boost in the pursuit for Arsenal, but it is unclear if they will revive their interest in Zaha after committing huge funds to the signing of Pepe.
