To say Arsenal fans have taken warmly to summer acquisition Dani Ceballos would be a serious understatement.

Arsenal loanee Dani Ceballos has opened up in an interview on a variety of topics.

In the Spaniard’s first start at the Emirates against Burnley, the talented midfielder’s virtuoso performance was rewarded with new chants.

He assisted both goals in that 2-1 win and he helped turn the game for Arsenal against Tottenham prior to the international break – which the Gunners drew 2-2 after being 2-0 down.

Ceballos is only at Arsenal on a one-year loan from Real Madrid, but after his latest interview with Sid Lowe, fans may be starting to gain optimism that a permanent deal can be arranged.

Not only has the Spanish international stated his love for the city of London, the Premier League and Arsenal fans, but he also thinks the Gunners compares to the mighty Real Madrid.

“I love the city, I love the Premier League and love Arsenal,” Ceballos said, in a comprehensive interview for Guardian. “I’m just really, really happy to be part of this great club.

“I’ve hardly noticed any difference in size between Real Madrid and Arsenal. And the fans are very passionate, they love the players.

“It’s much easier to adapt because they make you feel like you’ have been at the club forever. I love the way everyone’s treated me. They have put a lot of faith in me.”

“We’ve got a very good, compact side and the three up front really make the difference. You can compare Aubameyang to Ronaldo when he was at Madrid in the sense that he plays close to the goal he lives for scoring”, Ceballos added.
