Ben White’s current deal will expire in 2026.

Arsenal are adding one more player to the list of new contracts. The Gunners are looking to extend the contract of Ben White. They are talks with the defender for a new deal.

The North London club are progressing well to finalise the extension for the 26-year-old. The contract will be announced soon.

Arsenal splashed out £50million to sign Ben White from Brighton in the summer of 2021. His current deal will expire in 2026.

The Gunners have tied down a group of players of their squad to new contract such as Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba.

Mikel Arteta shifted White to right-back last season as William Saliba returned from three years of loan stint. He said, “I think he’s progressed in the right way in the past few years.”

“He had a little bit of a difficult start which is normal because it was a big jump. There are different expectations as well to play in different positions.

“He showed a lot of determination and courage to overcome all of that. He has a big personality. He copes with pressure really well. He has a lot of quality that he gives us in different positions. He’s a key player for us.”
