Aaron Ramsdale has struggled for gametime at Arsenal this campaign.

The England international has been a key player for the Gunners over the past two seasons and helped them challenge for the Premier League title last term.

But Ramsdale has fallen out of favour at the Emirates since the arrival of David Raya from Brentford on loan this summer.

David Raya who joined Arsenal on loan from Brentford this summer has been Mikel Arteta’s No.1 goalkeeper.

Ramsdale has made 86 appearances in all competitions, keeping 32 clean sheets for the North London side.

Arsenal are not actively seeking a departure for the England goalkeeper but would be tempted to offload him next summer if Ramsdale pushes for an exit.

The Gunners have now set a £50 million asking price for the goalkeeper and he is believed to be on the radar of Premier League rivals Chelsea.

There were several reports of him leaving the Emirates in the January transfer window but it seems unlikely that Arsenal will grant an exit this winter.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper will want to get his career back on track and would make an immediate impact at Stamford Bridge if he’s allowed to leave.

Ramsdale is under contract until the summer of 2026, with an option of an additional year.
