Laurent Koscielny’s future at Arsenal has come under intense scrutiny after he refused to take part in the club’s pre-season. As per reports, the Gunners have already identified the man to replace the Frenchman in defence next season.
The 33-year-old is said to be upset with Arsenal not allowing him to join
Unai Emery is said to be eyeing a move for Benfica’s Ruben Dias to fill in Koscielny’s boots at the Emirates. The 22-year-old appeared in 30 league games as Benfica won the league last season.
The Portuguese centerback has a £54m release clause, which could prove to be costly given that Unai Emery has been given only £45m to spend in the market this summer.
