Arsenal In Pole Position To Sign Inter Milan Midfielder

Reports coming out of the Italian press claim that Arsenal are in pole position to land Radja Nainggolan this season.

The Inter Milan midfielder has faced plenty of disciplinary issues ever since he made the switch from AS Roma last summer. Now, he currently is facing suspension from the Nerazzurri since December with the 30-year-old coming in late for training time and time again.

Reports also claim that Nainggolan’s gambling habits are a concern with the Inter hierarchy, with the Belgian losing a lot of money at a casino in Monte Carlo.

Inter paid a whopping €38m for Nainggolan and so far the return has been below par. He has scored on 3 occasions out of the 15 matches played in the Serie A.

Now it is believed by respectable Italian journalist, Carlo Pellegatti that Luciano Spaletti would not mind selling the midfielder with interest rolling in from the Premier League big four, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal are reported to be in the lead due to their immediate need for a Ramsey replacement. However, the Gunners will only be able to acquire the player on loan due to a lack of funds.

For this reason they failed to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona this January and Emery might on the lookout for other prospects.

Nainggolan is a highly talented footballer who can almost appear from any part of the central midfield.
