Arsenal are claimed to be amongst those interested in a deal to sign forward Omar Marmoush from Wolfsburg in the coming window

The 22-year-old is presently on loan at vfb Stuttgart, where he has three goals and four assists in 17 Bundesliga appearances, but he is expected to be a target for teams in the summer.

The Gunners and their loud neighbours Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked with bids for the talented and energetic striker, who mostly plays at centre-forward but is equally successful when played elsewhere.

Marmoush is said to be targeting a transfer to the Premier League, with Sport Witness quoting Bild as saying that a move to England has long been a goal of his, and he might very well obtain it.

I appreciate that his goalscoring record this season does not stick out as the proven type to lead the line for us, but the reality is that he is firmly impressing in one of the Bundesliga’s least productive sides this season.

He has been a continuous bright spot in the club’s dismal season, and if his team manages to avoid relegation, he will receive a lot of praise.

He could be an exciting addition to our team, particularly as a back-up to a proven goal scorer, who will also need to be bought in the next window, and his flexibility to play anywhere across the front three might mean he could pick up lots of minutes next season.
