Arsenal failed to sign Wilfried Zaha back in 2019.

The Crystal Palace star was linked with a move to the Emirates back in 2019 and Arsenal opted to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille instead.

The Gunners are currently sitting top of the Premier League table and will make some further additions this summer.

Nicolas Pepe is expected to depart this summer after failing to prove his big-money move.

Zaha, 29, has been on Arsenal’s radar since 2019 and could arrive at Emirates if Arsenal makes the right move.

The Ivory Coast international has three goals in the opening three games.

Dean Jones believes Arsenal can make a deal before the deadline day.

“They’re not the only two names they’re looking at. In the background, there’s Wilfried Zaha for example,” he told The Football Terrace.

“That deal is not moving forward at the moment. But Zaha is definitely one of those who ticks those boxes and Arsenal have had an eye on. So we’ll have to wait and see whether they decide to go down that path.”
