Pedro Neto has been linked with Arsenal for the past several days.

The Portuguese winger is set to have a £50million price tag and is one of the prominent attackers in the top-flight.

He was named Wolves’ Player of the Season in 2020 and has played 76 Premier League matches so far.

Mikel Arteta outlines the possibility of further additions in the summer window.

He said to: “We don’t like reacting obviously, we want to get the players that we believe will make a big impact in the team. If we can do that, we will try to do that. If we cannot, we will stay with the players we have.”

The 22-year-old winger spoke out on the recent speculation about his transfer.

He said to The Times: “I always like to hear this sort of stuff but I’m focused on my job here because I’m feeling very good here.

“The things you hear makes you work even more, it’s good for you and your mentality to know people know your value. The dream of any player is to play in the Champions League. I want to help this club to go higher and higher because I think we have that potential with the way we work, the way we sign players, the way we try to arrive there.

“We were very close last year but it is missing something and that’s something we have to work out between us.”
