Mahmoud Dahoud is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund last night.
The German midfielder is expected to leave the Bundesliga club on a free transfer this summer.
Several clubs are interested in signing the 27-year-old midfielder after the German decided to not renew his contract.
He will leave Westfalenstadion this summer after six years with Borussia Dortmund.
Clubs like Leicester City, AC Milan, Napoli and Roma and also Arsenal are now in the race for the German midfielder.
The two-cap German midfielder has endured a frustrating campaign as he only played in seven games for 288 minutes.
He has not featured in any of Dortmund’s Champions League games so far.
“I had a very open and honest conversation with Mo last week. I informed him that we would not be extending his contract in the summer,’ Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl said last month.
‘Mo has been with us for six years now, he is a very good footballer and I really have a very high opinion of him in terms of sport and personality. Nevertheless, we decided to take this step.’
