Arsenal Provides Answer For Aubameyang To China Rumours

Arsenal will be looking to secure the long-term future of their star forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after reports indicated that he could be heading to China.

The Gabon international, who finished the previous season with the highest goal tally in the Premier League (22) is currently being wooed by clubs from the Far East. He is reportedly being offered £300,000-per-week wages.

Many top players have been convinced into a move to the Chinese Super League with the promise of monetary gain. The clubs from the Asian country offer ridiculous amounts of cash to lure them out of the European limelight.

Yannick Carrasco fell in that trap and is now trying to return back home, drawing strong links with Arsenal. Aubameyang does not have any pressing reason to leave the Emirates as he is celebrated as one of the club’s best players by the fans.

The 29-year-old also shares a wonderful relationship with his strike partner, Alexandre Lacazette. Arsenal are willing to improve Aubameyang’s current deal of £190,000-per-week and will be looking to do the same for the former Lyon striker.

Lacazette could see his salary rise to £200,000-per-week, as per reports. This is a positive move by Arsenal since both players are in their prime but they should not overindulge if this stops them from signing more players.

Mesut Ozil’s eye-watering £350,000-per-week contract has already caused issues in their wage structure and has greatly reduced their transfer budget, along with their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
