Former Arsenal Manager Is Ready To Return To Football But Not As A Manager

Arsene Wenger insists he is ready to return to football but isn’t interested in a managerial job.

The former Arsenal manager left his position in the last summer and Unai Emery has done a good job so far keeping the Gunners competitive throughout the season.

The North Londoners are in the Europa League final and need to get the better of Chelsea in a bid to secure Champions League spot for them.

Wenger was linked with a return to his native France with Paris Saint Germain and Lyon but he opted to take a break from all kind of football activities and now is gearing up for a return.

Wenger said, “I worked for 40 years in management. You cannot say you walk out and you don’t miss it,

“Originally I said I want to manage straight away again. After that I thought maybe I’ll take a little distance.

“I came to the conclusion that I want to share what I learned in my life. Because life is only useful if at some stage you share what you know.

“I will go back into football for sure. In what position I don’t know, whether that is as a manager or not. The appetite, the desire, is still there.

“I know what kind of life I have in front of me so I have to decide that now.”
