How Much Arsenal Will Have To Pay To Keep Dani Ceballos

Real Madrid are willing to let Dani Ceballos move to Arsenal for €40m.

The Spaniard is currently on loan for the entire 2019/20 season.

Injuries stole a huge chunk of his time at the Emirates but otherwise, the 23-year-old has been quite a hit amongst the fans. Ceballos emerged to be an exciting number ten under Unai Emery and now, he is showing promise even in a more deep midfield role under Mikel Arteta.

Ceballos’ playmaking and distrubtion abilities are his best traits. The former Real Betis man became a squad regular under Arteta prior to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. He was aiming to make the final Spain squad for the 2020 Euros.

Real Madrid were initially interested in keeping Ceballos but are now, happy to focus all their attention on Frederico Valverde. They are also readying up a huge fee to prize Paul Pogba out of Manchester United’s hands. They believe €40m is a justifiable fee for Ceballos, especially since he has three years left on his current deal.

Arsenal are currently evaluating their options in midfield. An improvement is necessary but buying Ceballos outright might not be their best option. Reports claim that the Gunners want Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey. The 25-year-old is far better suited to play the number six role due to his defensive qualities.
