Mason Mount would be perfectly suited to Mikel Arteta’s setup.

The 24-year-old has little over 12 months left on his Blues contract and the Blues are demanding £60million for the prized midfielder.

Mount has undergone surgery and seems like has already played his final game for Chelsea as he is currently sidelined with an injury.

Liverpool are thought to be the frontrunners in luring the midfielder away from Stamford Bridge this summer but Mount reportedly wants a move to Old Trafford.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich set for a battle to sign him in the summer transfer window.

But Tony Cascarino believes Mount would be a perfect replacement for Xhaka who is expected to leave the Emirates at the end of this campaign.

He told talkSPORT: “I look at Arsenal as probably the best fit for him, because I think he can do the Xhaka role really well.

“Mason will always get goals, he’s got a great eye for the goal, he’s a good finisher and he will always chip in. He’s very capable of getting ten-plus goals a season, and I think he’d fit well in this Arsenal team.”
