Arsenal are a club in a state of crisis. They finished outside the top four last season and also lost the Europa League final, their last chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

With CL not there anymore for them, the club are in a financial crunch. Their owner is not a man to spend money and has dedicated a joke of a budget for a club who wish to make top four.

Hence, for the Gunners, it is important, they find players from within their team and academy who can make the first team. One such player who badly wants to make it to the team is Tyreece John-Jules.

He recently got his first minutes as an Arsenal player in a friendly and now wants to do it in the competitive level as well.

“It was a good experience to get back on the pitch, I’ve missed playing for Arsenal out there and it was all about getting fitness and recovery today and I was delighted to get two goals,” he said.

“[I’m aiming to] stay injury free and keep my fitness up and hopefully get a chance in the first team, and if I do, take it. Hopefully, I can make my competitive debut this season and be a strong part of the under-23s team and then kick on.”
