Steve Nicol urges Emery to sign this wantaway PSG star

The Adrian Rabiot saga seems to be on going for ever now.

It was back in winter when the player and the club fell apart completely on communications.

The club accused Rabiot and his mother, the player’s agent, of playing double games with the club while the player and his mother defended by saying PSG were not a clean slate, something everyone in football already knows.

It now still remains to be seen though where Rabiot ends up and Steve Nicol believes he would be a perfect addition for Arsenal.

“Adrien Rabiot to the Premier League I think would be a good move for any Premier League team,” Nicol said.

“And I think there’s one team in particular who would benefit – Arsenal.

“He seems ideal for Arsenal.

“Unai Emery knows him as well, he should know his game inside out.

“Arsenal need somebody in the middle of the park, that’s for sure.

“I’m going to say Rabiot to the Premier League – yes.

“And the destination should be Arsenal.”

Having played under Emery before, Rabiot had mentioned how he enjoyed playing under the current Gunners boss more than other managers.

“Blanc had certain things going for him but I think Emery is a little closer to the players,” he told Goal.

“This is a coach who really communicates with everyone.

“He is asking us our opinion after the sessions, what we liked, what we didn’t like.”
