Two Italian giants join the race to sign Arsenal target Marco Asensio

Both Juventus and AC Milan are now expected to try their hand at trying to sign Marco Asensio from Real Madrid, someone who is also believed to be of interest to Arsenal

His present club is thought to be interested in cashing in on the midfielder, who has just under 18 months left on his current deal, but if rumours in Football.Italia are correct and they demand €50-60 million euros for his signing, they may have fewer takers than they would like.

Arsenal are anticipated to spend heavily this summer to upgrade their team, although the most of their finances will almost certainly be directed toward acquiring a striker, with a central midfielder also high on their wishlist.

While they may be seeking to add to their attacking roles, it is possible that this will be contingent on what occurs with our present possibilities for the job, as well as how much money is still available.

It is difficult to imagine that either Milan or Juventus would be willing to pay such a high asking price for Asensio, despite the fact that he has a wealth of experience for a 26-year-old, which may cause Real to reconsider their asking price, or possibly change their stance and offer him a new contract instead.

Is Asensio truly worth the €50 million+ cost in today’s world? Would Asensio be a significant upgrade above Arsenal’s existing options?
