Aubameyang has a chance to fulfill the promise to his grandfather

Arsenal player Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is likely to leave the club at the end of this season.

The Gabonese will have another year left on his contract with the Gunners, so the club will agree to release him for around 40 million euros in order to make money on his sale.

Among the clubs interested is Real Madrid, who want to see Aubameyang in their squad. The experienced striker in 2016, while playing for Borussia Dortmund, pointed out to his grandfather that in his honor one day he will sign for Real Madrid, and now he has that opportunity.

“Before he died, I promised him that one day I would play for Real Madrid. My grandfather was from Avila, not far from Madrid. I told him that. I know it will not be easy, but it will be something I will keep in mind, “said Aubameyang in 2016.
