Thomas Partey Told To Join Arsenal This Summe

Very few people know Thomas Partey like his friend and Ghana international, Kasim Nuhu.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with Partey all season long, even when they were under Unai Emery’s reign.

The Ateltico man has been recognized for his composed midfield presence, adding creativity and structure on both ends of the pitch. That is exactly the kind of player Mikel Arteta needs in his current system at the Emirates which is why inquiries have been launched for the 26-year-old.

Partey is no doubt, a top central midfielder in the La Liga and very highly valued by Diego Simeone. The only problem for Atletico is his expiring contract. This has given the Gunners an opportunity to swoop him and offer him a lucrative deal. Nuhu revealed exactly the North London outfit would be a good destination for Partey.

“Atletico Madrid is a very good club so he is playing one of the biggest clubs in the world and Arsenal is also one of the biggest,” Nuhu said (via GhanaWeb). “For me, it is his decision because playing in Atletico Madrid is the same as playing in Arsenal. The two teams always make the same category in the league fighting for the 3rd and 4th place to play in Champions League. But as we all know the Premiership is the best league in the world. So if he joins Arsenal, I will be happy for him.”

The Premier League is the ultimate challenge for most footballers. Even if Arsenal are unable to guarantee Champions League football next season, Partey would be walking into an ambitious project where he can be a central figure. The Gunners will have to somehow manage his asking price of £50m.
