Eddie Nketiah scored the third goal against AFC Wimbledon.
The 22-year old striker started his first game of the season for Mikel Arteta’s side.
He scored an amazing backheel goal to secure the win for Arsenal who will play Leeds United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
‘I’m so proud of this kid,’ Arteta told Sky Sports.
‘He hasn’t played much, there’s a lot of speculation around him. The way he trains, the way he behaves, he’s always willing to help the team.
‘He fully deserves what happens because he trains and prepares himself like a beast.’
