Leandro Trossard could be on his way to Arsenal as early as this January.
The 27-year-old’s contract with Brighton and Hove Albion expires in the summer of 2023.
He is having an impressive season with the Seagulls scoring seven goals in 14 games in the league.
The Belgian international is currently participating in the Qatar World Cup Roberto Martinez’ side.
Even Chelsea are also in the hunt for the 27-year-old winger and Graham Potter is keen to bring his former player to the Stamford Bridge.
But Jamie Redknapp claims Arsenal could the winger this January.
“They aren’t afraid to sell players because they can find the next one to come in, a bit like Trossard,” said Redknapp.
“They know clubs are going to be coming in for him in January or at the end of the season, but they can live with it.
“He is one of my favourite players and he has been for a few years. He just sees the game so well. He has every trick in the book. He can pass. He presses really well. He has got lovely skill. You press him and he will walk past you.”
