A 3-0 loss to Aston Villa at home has placed Mikel Arteta’s job in danger.
The Arsenal boss has gotten off to a tough start this season – with 4 wins and 4 losses so far and his fans are not happy with him. One fan has asked Arteta to be removed from the club.
He said: “Mikel Arteta has to go tonight and we need to use the international break to bring in Max Allegri or Mauricio Pochettino.
“I’ve run out of patience and I think I speak for a lot of Arsenal fans when I say that.
“I was never convinced in him in the first place. There’s a big difference to putting out the cones at Man City’s training ground and managing Arsenal.
“He should have done what Lampard or Gerrard did. That’s manage at a smaller club, cut their feet, and maybe come back in a few years. It’s too big of a step up for him.
“He won the FA Cup but that papered over a lot of cracks. He brought us up one place [last season].
“We’ve improved in defence but going forward… we haven’t scored a goal from open play in the Premier League for four matches. The only goal we’ve scored in four matches has been a penalty.”
